Boundaries
Separated from the Diocese of Goulburn in 1918. Bounded on south by the Murray River to a point 16 km west of Tocumwal; on the west by a line extending from that point on the Murray to the western boundary of County Cooper; on the north by a line about 38.63 km north of the South-West Railway, including the Irrigation area, 6.44 km north of Yenda, and 11.27 km east of same to Illabo; thence in a south-easterly line to Khancoban and the Murray. The Diocese of Wagga comprises the Land Board Counties of Selwyn, Wynyard, Mitchell, Clarendon, Goulburn, Hume, Urana, Denison, Boyd (partly), Cooper (most of it), Bourke (three-fourths) or otherwise the Shires of Tumbarumba, Holbrook, Kyeamba, Hume, Mitchell, Culcairn, Urana, Lockhart, Corowa, Berrigan, Jerilderie, Narrandera (most of it), Carrathool (part), Willimbong, Murrumbidgee (part), Coolamon, Illabo, Adjungbilly (part), as well as the Municipalities of Wagga, Albury, Junee.
