Boundaries
The Archdiocese comprises the territory bounded on the north from the Indian Ocean due east along 30 Deg S latitude to 120 degrees E longitude, thence due north to 29 degrees S, thence due east to 129 degrees E (WA/SA border); on the east by the WA/SA border; on the south from the Indian Ocean due east along 32 degrees 25' S latitude to 116 degrees E longitude, thence due south to 32 degrees 45' 6" S, thence due east to the coast of the Great Australian Bight; on the west by the Indian Ocean. Christmas Island and Cocos Islands in the Indian Ocean are pastorally cared for by the Archdiocese although they are not within its jurisdiction.
