From the New South Wales border north along the east coast of Queensland until the 25th parallel. Follow this parallel until it meets the Auburn Range. Follow the Auburn Range to the Great Divide. Follow the Great Divide to the Blackbutt Range. Follow the Blackbutt Range to the point of intersection with the 27th parallel. Follow this parallel until it meets meridian 152' 10''. Follow this meridian to the top of Mt Perseverance; from this point in a straight line to the junction of Lockyer and Ma Ma Creeks. Follow Ma Ma Creek to its headwaters in the Great Divide. Follow the Great Divide, then follow the McPherson Range and the New South Wales border to the Pacific Ocean. Area: 77,700 sq km.
