About the Cover
This year's cover features a map of Australia drawn from an unusual angle to the highlight the positions of the 17,000 addresses contained within this Directory.
Using freely-available tools, each street and postal address in the directory is geo-coded into a latitude and longitude.
With so many known placemarkers, the options are endless: online mapping; finding nearest neighbours; complex queries based on geographical regions; or simply visualising all 17,000 points to see the patterns emerge.
The major gridlines reveal a cross extending from coast to coast, embracing all Australia and transcending all borders.
